‘The Wives’ Revolt’ continues today at Muson Centre

The Wives’ Revolt continues its weekend run at the Agip Recital Hall of Muson Centre this Sunday, March 31 afternoon in two shows. The first at 3pm and the second at 7pm.

Written by JP Clark, thisislagos spoke with the director, Toritseju Ejoh on why people should go see the exciting and hilarious stage play, among other questions.

Responding to why is it important to do the play right now, the director, who is popularly known as Toju said that “it is the International Women’s Month and we chose to do this play in celebration of it”.

He went on to say that they would consider extending the run of the play, which is being staged in partnership with the African Radio Drama Association (ARDA), beyond the weekend.

Apart from Zara Udofia-Ejoh, Toju said the play also features veteran actors Albert Akaeze and the award-winning Toyin Oshinaike. Also, he added, it’s a fun, entertaining and enjoyable play.

He said these are some of the reasons people should troop out to come see it.
