Those who left APC have deficiencies, says Benue Party Chairman (ThisDay)

The Benue State chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has reacted to the exit of the state Governor, Samuel Ortom, 15 senators and 35 members of the House of Representatives from its platform

The state Chairman of the Party, Mr. Abba Yaro while speaking to journalists in Makurdi, the state capital, yesterday said the mass exodus was a welcome development as the ruling party has been relieved of their detestable deficiencies and anti-party activities dragging the party backwards. Yaro said most of the senators and members of the House of Representative s that defected from the APC to other parties were not only ungrateful but deceptive, stressing that the affected members foresaw their irrelevance in the party and have been pushed away by divinity to pave the way for men and women of honour that would embrace the people-oriented manifestoes of the ruling APC.
