Three men, Momodu Jimoh (32), Olusegun Samuel (35) and Owoloye Timilehin (30), on Friday appeared before an Ado-Ekiti Chief Magistrates’ Court over alleged possession of locally made pistol.
The defendants, whose addresses were unknown, are facing a charge of unlawful possession of locally made pistol.
The prosecutor, Inspector Johnson Okunade, told the Court that the defendants committed the offence on March 27 in Omuo-Ekiti.
He alleged that the defendants did unlawfully have in their possession a locally made pistol.
Okunade said the offence contravened Section 27 (i) of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ekiti State 2012. Read more
