Timo Werner has warned his Chelsea teammates that they will not win trophies this season if they continue to leak goals following the 3-3 draw with Southampton on Saturday.
Frank Lampard’s side were two goals in front in under 30 minutes at Stamford Bridge following Werner’s sublime double.
But Southampton pulled one back shortly before half time as Kai Havertz’s mistake in possession led to Danny Ings’ goal.
After the break, Che Adams then capitalised on two errors from Kurt Zouma and Kepa Arrizabalaga to equalise for Southampton. Kai Havertz struck to put Chelsea back in front but the visitors earned a point through Jannik Vestergaard’s goal in injury time. (Metro)
