Tinubu mourns former Anambra governor Chukwuemeka Ezeife

President Bola Tinubu has expressed deep condolences to the Ezeife family and the people of Anambra State on the demise of Chief Chukwuemeka Ezeife, former governor of the state. Recognising Chief Ezeife’s significant role as the Okwadike of Igbo-Ukwu and his tenure as Anambra’s governor from 1992 to 1993, President Tinubu praised his towering influence in Nigeria’s political landscape. 

According to a statement by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President (Media and Publicity), the president highlighted the painful loss, reminiscing about Chief Ezeife’s contributions to public discourse and governance. 

President Tinubu, acknowledging the indelible legacy left behind, urged the departed leader’s loved ones to find solace in his impactful contributions to the nation and the state.

The president recalls the contributions the late Chief Ezeife made in the shaping of public discourse and governance in Nigeria, as well as in laying the foundation for the advancement of his dear state.
