Tinubu mourns Pastor Taiwo Odukoya

In a solemn statement issued Tuesday, President Bola Tinubu expressed his deep condolences on the passing of the revered Senior Pastor of the Fountain of Life Church, Taiwo Odukoya, aged 67. 

The president’s heartfelt sentiments were extended to the family, friends, and congregants of the late pastor, as well as to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), and associates of the respected religious leader.

Pastor Odukoya was hailed for his remarkable contributions to charitable endeavors, particularly within the education and health sectors. 

Tinubu recognised how the pastor’s teachings and outreach efforts played a pivotal role in broadening the horizons of charitable activities. Through his work, countless vulnerable individuals found support, and aspiring dreams were nurtured into reality.

Acknowledging the significant impact of Pastor Odukoya’s work on the nation’s development, Tinubu underlined the importance of preserving the legacy he left behind. He urged everyone who had the privilege of knowing the esteemed clergyman to actively sustain his outstanding contributions. 

The president’s message was imbued with hope that the Almighty would continue to provide comfort to Pastor Odukoya’s grieving family.

In his prayers, Tinubu asked for the peaceful repose of the departed pastor’s soul, while the nation united in mourning and reflection on the life of this extraordinary spiritual leader.
