Busola Dakolo spills the beans
Busola Dakolo, a photographer and wife of musician, Timi Dakolo, has accused the founder of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Pastor Abiodun Fatoyinbo, of rape.
Mrs. Dakolo is the second high profile person after Ese Walter to accuse Fatoyinbo of rape.
The photographer said some years ago, while she was still below the age of 18, the pastor allegedly visited her parents’ home when no one was in the house and allegedly raped her. She said this during an interview with Y!Naija.
It’s about time this #MeToo wind blows into this side of the continent. Nobody should shut Busola up, let her speak her truth. If Pastor Abiodun isn’t guilty, he should come out and say so. Else, his silence is enough admittance of his guilt.
PDP, APC and yeye requests
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has challenged President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to publicly declare their assets as proof to Nigerians and the world that they were not corrupt and have been leading Nigeria by example. The main opposition party also asked the President of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan and the Speaker, House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila to make public their assets in other to convince Nigerians that they were indeed partners in the fight against corruption.
The PDP Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Diran Odeyemi said, “We are of the opinion that President Mohammadu Buhari, Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, President of the Senate Ahmed Lawan and Speaker, House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila should declare openly their assets to allow Nigerians to further see how much wealth they have acquired since joining government.
“We believe laying claim to sainthood is easy as Buhari and others have been doing all along, but Nigerians deserve to see beyond whatever government forces down their throats. By making a public declaration of their assets, Nigerians will be able to see better and judge accordingly”.
Mtcheww. This politicians sef. Wetin concern us with their assets? Will showing us improve the standard of living? Mtcheww. All of you haf mad.
‘Na Osinbajo be our sponsor’
Ngelzerma boasted that when the programme has been successfully completed, Nigerians would fully enjoy the benefits of animal husbandry. The settlement secretary said this on Sunrise Daily, a programme on Channels Television. Southern socio-cultural groups including Afenifere and Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo; as well as the Middle Belt Forum have all rejected the Ruga initiative.
“This is an integrated settlement that will bring about the production of pasture grass, water, schools, markets, meat and milk processing and where it can create a sub-sector of the economy. This is something that if done properly, will create a lot of employment.” He urged Nigerians to support the model and give peace a chance even as he claimed that only states that approved of the model would have Ruga settlements.
A lot of employment ba? I laugh in Nnamdi Kanu.
Warning: Resist rape and get punished
Two people have been arrested in India’s Bihar state after a group of men shaved the heads of two women as “punishment” for resisting rape. The group, which included a local official, ambushed the mother and daughter in their home with the intent of raping them, police said.
When the women resisted, they assaulted them, shaved their heads and paraded them through the village.
Police say they are searching for five others involved in the incident.
Mehn, this world is just messed up. And if you still don’t see rape for the crime it is then your matter pass me.
It’s a Messi world
Lionel Messi’s Iranian doppelganger Reza Parastesh has denied tricking 23 women in his native country into sleeping with him after taking on the Argentine football icon’s identity to seduce them. Spanish sports publications Marca circulated the accusations earlier this week that Parastesh had told the women he was in fact Barcelona’s all-time top scorer, which could be classified as ‘rape by deception’, illegal in some countries.
Parastesh has since addressed the issue on his Instagram page, where the ‘fake Messi’ insisted the claims were “fake news” that could harm his “reputation and credibility”, and claimed he would be seeking legal action in response.
“Hi guys, a false and dummy news is being trended in social media with the subject of raping 23 girls by me, please do not play with people’s reputation and credibility,” the 26-year-old wrote to his near 700,000 followers. “If this news was true I would be in jail right now; I’m going to pursue this news from the legal administration definitely and I want the police to find the source of this fake news and announce [it to] the public.”
LOL. How much Messi would want those alleged 23 women to be cup wins with Argentina.
