The cowardice of one man
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday described the Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu’s threat to attack South East Governors as cowardly and an act of desperation.
Chairman of Ebonyi State chapter of the party, Onyekachi Nwebonyi, stated this in a statement he issued in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State capital. He said Mr Kanu is not a freedom fighter but a businessman out to make money from Igbo politicians and businessmen.
The party also said real freedom fighters don’t run away but stay and fight to achieve their aim.

Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha, has said that his association with Chika Augustine Odionyemma, one of the 78 Nigerians indicted in the United States by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) last Thursday, was purely on the basis of their common Imo nativity.
The governor’s aide said, “He (Odionyemma) is an Imo son and it was in that capacity that the governor attended the programmes he organised. Moreover, those programmes were meant to empower the people and you know that the governor is a man of the people.”

For the love of Rohr
Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr says he feels loved by Nigerians, a major reason he’s attached to the country and the national team. But the German, who holds a French passport, admits that there’s a section of Nigerians from whom he “doesn’t feel this love.”
“We have difference between Francophone countries and Anglophone countries but I didn’t have any problem adapting (in Nigeria) because I was welcomed by everybody, not only in the team but the staff, and also from Nigerians,” he said. “When I go out, I feel this love, I feel it everywhere. The only people I don’t feel this love from, there is only one category especially after the AFCON, and you know who it is.”
Hmmm. Oga Rohr, better win AFCON next time if not, NFF will do you very strong thing.
