Atiku vs Buhari: This is not the end of the battle
The PDP and Atiku had said that they would challenge the judgment, which they described as subversion of justice, at the Supreme Court. The judges compared the evidence provided by Atiku to “a drop in the ocean.”
The APC National Chairman, Mr Adams Oshiomhole, said, “We as a party, we are confident that if it is within the Nigerian law for the PDP to go even to the World Court, we will meet them there… Our winner is the best example that losing an election is not tantamount to the end of your political life. He lost three previous elections, and today he is the President.”

Your labour shall not be in vain – Abike Dabiri-Erewa
Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, has said that the Federal Government is pressing for compensation for Nigerians affected by recent xenophobic attacks in South Africa.
Dabiri-Erewa stated this at the maiden Diaspora Lecture of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. The lecture was entitled: “Role of Africans in Diaspora in the Transformation of a University of Technology.”
According to her, those that have been evacuated to Nigeria would be well taken care of. Dabiri-Erewa also enjoined all state governments to create a Diaspora Desk, saying Nigeria has the highest diaspora potentials in Africa and the third in the world.
Okay na. Let’s watch and see what happens. The ball is in South Africa’s court.
NCC ready to knack some people something
The Federal Government has directed telecommunication operators, through the Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC) to block about 9.2 million sim cards without proper registration.
The directive followed the submission of the short-term performance by the NCC as directed by the Minister of Communications Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami. Recall that Pantami had directed all Agencies and Parastatals under his purview to submit their baseline short-term performance targets report. Based on the directive, the NCC submitted its report in which it stated the figures of improperly registered SIM cards in use around the country.
The Commission in its report disclosed that an estimated nine million two hundred thousand SIM cards did not comply with the proper procedures of SIM registration.

The singer against Ganduje
Singer, Nazir Ahmad, popularly called Sarkin Wakan Kano, has been arrested for allegedly releasing two uncensored musical albums and operating an illegal studio. The albums, which were released about three years ago, were said to have violated some provisions of the state censorship board laws.
In the said albums titled Gidan Sarauta and Sai Hakuri, the singer was said to have openly criticised the state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje.
The spokesman, Kano State police command, DSP Abdullahi Haruna, confirmed the arrest, saying that the singer was arrested on the orders of the court.
I’m even afraid to comment on this sef. Make nobody arrest me for album wey I no even sabi say I release.
This race is not for the swift…but the kind
The depleted athlete had collapsed onto his hands and knees just metres from the end of the elite 10k race. His kind rival stopped his own race to pick up the man and help him across the line – even allowing him to finish ahead.
The pair had been among hundreds of people taking part in the 10k Thailand Championship 2019.
