Atiku vs Buhari: This is not the end of the battle

The All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Federal Government on Thursday derided the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, over the judgment of the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal.

The PDP and Atiku had said that they would challenge the judgment, which they described as subversion of justice, at the Supreme Court. The judges compared the evidence provided by Atiku to “a drop in the ocean.”

The APC National Chairman, Mr Adams Oshiomhole, said, “We as a party, we are confident that if it is within the Nigerian law for the PDP to go even to the World Court, we will meet them there… Our winner is the best example that losing an election is not tantamount to the end of your political life. He lost three previous elections, and today he is the President.”

LOL. You know that saying about two elephants fighting and the grass bearing the consequences? Now I don’t believe it! Because it’s in moments like this I wish I studied to be a lawyer.

Your labour shall not be in vain – Abike Dabiri-Erewa

Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, has said that the Federal Government is pressing for compensation for Nigerians affected by recent xenophobic attacks in South Africa.

Okay na. Let’s watch and see what happens. The ball is in South Africa’s court.

NCC ready to knack some people something

This race is not for the swift…but the kind

In Bangkok, Thailand, a runner stopped inches from the finish line to turn back and help an exhausted competitor.

The depleted athlete had collapsed onto his hands and knees just metres from the end of the elite 10k race. His kind rival stopped his own race to pick up the man and help him across the line – even allowing him to finish ahead.

The pair had been among hundreds of people taking part in the 10k Thailand Championship 2019.

Always worthy of note an act of kindness.
