It came as a surprise today when former presidential candidate of the Allied Congress for Progressive Nigeria, Obiageli Ezekwesili withdrew from the presidential race. Her decision, it was reported, was in order to provide a stronger coalition to unseat incumbent president Muhammadu Buhari. Her disappointed fans aside, but aren’t you wondering: Why even come this far to quit now? She just might have another card up her sleeve, who knows.

Moses looks toward Turkey for his promised land
Former Super Eagles player Victor Moses has agreed a loan deal with Turkish club Fenerbahçe S.K. The deal will see him spend the rest of the season at the club. His parent team Chelsea FC had wanted to sell him to a Chinese club but Victor Moses had rejected the move because (this is real fact, sue me) he can’t come and be learning another language like that na, haba, think it na!
