Ademola Adeleke: the senator not fit to be a governor

A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Bwari, Abuja has voided the participation of Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last governorship election in Osun State.Justice Othman Musa, in a judgment on Tuesday, annulled Adeleke’s nomination as candidate of the PDP on the grounds that Adeleke offended section 177 of the 1999 Constitution as amended.

“The section states that candidates for the position of governor must be educated up to secondary school level,” Justice Musa said. He also said while the court’s findings showed that Adeleke entered secondary school in 1976, there was no record showing that he (Adeleke) actually graduated. The judge said Adeleke’s name was no longer seen in the school’s register from 1980.

Uche Nwosu is still searching for his ‘stolen’ mandate

The governorship candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) in Imo State, Uche Nwosu, on Tuesday said the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) made a mistake by denying him its governorship ticket. Nwosu spoke in Owerri, the state capital.

He said, “The national leadership of the APC made a mistake by not giving the party’s governorship ticket to me. We warned them against giving the ticket to Hope Uzodinma, but the leadership of the party ignored our warnings. The outcome of the elections has justified us.

“We joined the AA two months to the election and I won the governorship election if not for the manipulations…Now that they have realised their mistake, we are ready to form alliance with APC to reclaim our mandate.”

Hahahahahaha. Is it the same mandate that Imo people don’t want going to anyone related to Rochas? Oga Uche doesn’t need an alliance, he needs a separation. Ahem.

A sad story in Niger State

A 39- year- old man, Aminu Usman, arrested by the Niger State Police Command for allegedly raping a 9-year-old girl, said he did not know she is underage. The suspect, it was gathered, lured the young girl to asecluded area with a promise of buying some items for her and had his way with her.

The suspect, who was arrested on a tip-off by policemen attached to ‘A’ Division, Suleja, said: “I did not realise that she is an underage girl before I had sex with her. All I know is that I had sexual urge and I had to discharge and this is what led me to…not knowing that she is underage.

“I didn’t even know how it all came about until I finished. It is unfortunate that I did it and I plead for forgiveness because I have never done it before.” Mtcheew. F@*k it, this one deserves the hottest part in hell. And yes, I’m judging, Devil would agree 100% with me.

Moise Kean: It’s a 50-50 thing, says Bonucci

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri and the club’s defender Leonardo Bonucci have said 19-year-old Moise Kean who was racially abused during Tuesday’s Serie A match at Cagliari should take some of the blame for his celebration. Moise Kean held his arms aloft after scoring Juve’s second goal in the 2-0 win, seemingly in response to chants, and was subjected to further abuse.

“He shouldn’t have celebrated in that manner,” said Allegri. “He is a young man and he has to learn, but certain things from the crowd also shouldn’t be heard.” Italy international Bonucci – who scored the opening goal – said: “You celebrate goals with your teammates. He could have done it differently. I think the blame is 50-50. Moise should not have done that and the Curva [fans] should not have reacted in that way.”

Hilarious. What about the players that celebrated with their teammates and still had racial slurs hurled at them? Some of these footballers and coaches should talk less, focus more on the pitch.

A father, his son and a PlayStation

Tre Cosby, a dad from Sylvania in Georgia, USA forced his son, Trace, to destroy his cherished PlayStation 4 console after the boy’s school grades slipped.

Tre ordered his son to smash the PS4 using a boulder, crowbar, then joined in himself using the family’s car – all while ignoring the youngster’s anguished sobs.

YouTuber Tre’s online bio suggests he also has a more lighthearted side, and describes the dad as a ‘realistic down to earth comic.’

I just remember that I was never gifted a PlayStation when I improved my position in class from 30^th to 28^th. It’s an evil world we live in.
