On August 13, we are looking forward to screening TILAÏ, the cinema classic by late Burkinabe filmmaker Idrissa Ouedraogo. The film tells the story of two lovers who must weather multiple storms to be reunited and hope for a happy ending. TILAÏ was awarded the Étalon d’or de Yennenga at Fespaco in 1991.

About the Film: Saga returns to his village after an absence of two years. Many things have changed. His fiancée Nogma has become his father’s second wife. But Saga and Nogma are still in love.
