Tyson Fury’s trainer Ben Davison claims Anthony Joshua’s inability to adjust to Andy Ruiz Jr’s style cost him in the first defeat of his career.
Joshua was knocked down four times before he was stopped in the seventh round by Ruiz at Madison Square Garden earlier this month.
The 29-year-old’s preparation for the fight, as well as his mindset, has come under intense scrutiny in the aftermath of his loss.
But Davison, who is preparing Fury ahead of his fight against Tom Schwarz on June 15, believes Joshua made the fight easier for Ruiz by allowing the 29-year-old to close the distance. Read more
