Five vehicles branded with pictures of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu state were on Sunday set ablaze in Enugu.
Three Sienna buses were razed down while two coaster buses were also burning when men of the Enugu fire Service arrived and put out the fire.
An eye witness said that the vehicles were still parked at a sign artist’s workshop near a popular joint, Tickles, Ogui New Layout, where they were still being branded when the arsonists struck.
They allegedly used gun powder to ignite the fire. The resultant explosion reportedly attracted residents who called in men of the fire service. Read more
