UN appoints LASU permanent host of World Bicycle Day in Nigeria (Independent)

The United Nations has appointed the Lagos State University as permanent host of annual Bicycle Day celebration in Nigeria.

This is another boost to the soaring global recognition of the varsity.

In addition, no fewer than five students from the African Centre of Excellence institution will represent Nigeria at the event to hold in Singapore.

Disclosing this was Mr. Adekunle Ahmed Anrinle, a member, Governing Council of Asian African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AACCI) while speaking on the benefits of bicycle-riding during the 2019 commemoration of the World Bicycle Day at Lagos State University (LASU) campus early in the week.
