Beach volleyball player, Francisca Ikhiede has revealed that beating Brazil at the 2020 Camtel Volleyball Invitational Championship in Cameroon has changed her mentality as she now believes completely that every team in the world is beatable.
The Nigerian female Beach volleyball team won the country’s first gold medal in 2020 by defeating the South America champions, Brazil 2-0 (21-15, 21-18) in the women’s final to clinch the trophy for the second consecutive year.
It will be noted that the team came back from a set down to beat highly rated Morocco in the semi finals 2-1(17-21, 21-14, 15-10).
The National beach volleyball player also said the 2019 Zone 3 African Club Championship was one of her most exciting tournaments while urging younger players to be dedicated, hard-working and humble. (DailyTrust)
