VIO threatens to impound vehicles without inspection certificate (Punch)

The Ogun State chapter of Vehicle Inspection Office has threatened to take drastic actions against any vehicle operating across the state without inspection certificate.

The Chief VIO in the state, Gboyega Ademehin, warned that vehicles that do not take part in computerised inspection will be impounded.

Ademehin spoke during the commissioning of the Ogun computerised Vehicle Inspection Service, held on Friday at the VIO operational headquarters in Quarry, Abeokuta.

Ademehin said the gesture was part of the efforts to reduce accidents on the roads in the state. Read more
