Ex-militants in Edo State have said that they have not endorsed any candidate in any of the political parties for next year’s general elections.
The ex-militants said they would soon unveiled the political party and candidates they would mobilize their supporters to vote for.
They debunked the reported endorsement of Barr. Omosede Igbinedion, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for Ovia Federal Constituency.
Chairman of ex-militants in the state, ‘General’ Pere Ejune, said those that reportedly visited Omosede to endorse her were impostors.
Pere listed ex-militants’ leaders that could endorsed candidates to include Robert Okubor, Omo Towarigha, Cemense Niso Egbema, Godwin Ikhin. Read more
