Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba had special words of encouragement for new Manchester United signing Hannibal Mejbri.
United have agreed a £9.1 million compensation fee with Monaco for the 16-year-old, who will officially move to Old Trafford when he turns 17 in January.
Mejbri has signed a five-year contract with United after visiting the club’s training ground last week.
According to Le Parisien, Mejbri spoke to Martial and Pogba during his visit to Carrington and the French duo urged the young midfielder to ‘join them quickly’ in the first team. Read more
