We’ve grown used to having the MCU schedule mapped out for us, sometimes years in advance. But as we approach Phase Four of the franchise, we still know very little about what to expect.One of our biggest questions is reserved for the untitled Avengers: Infinity War sequel, aka Avengers 4 due in May 2019 – namely, what will its title actually be.
At the time of Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2’s 2017 release, Gamora actress Zoe Saldana let slip that the sequel to Avengers: Infinity War would be called ‘Infinity Gauntlet’. So that settles it, right?
Maybe not. We’re inclined to believe the claims that Saldana misspoke rather than revealing something she shouldn’t have done. That’s mainly because we’re inclined to believe Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and directors Anthony and Joe Russo when they say that the title hasn’t been revealed yet because it’s a spoiler for Infinity War.
