Anthony Martial will miss Thursday’s Europa League match against LASK after he suffered an impact injury in Sunday’s Manchester derby.
The France international collided with a post attempting to close down Ederson’s clearance early in the second half. Martial managed to continue for a further 25 minutes before being replaced by Odion Ighalo for the closing stages.
Martial was not involved in United’s training session at Carrington on Wednesday morning and did not accompany his teammates on the flight to Austria ahead of the last 16 first leg tie.
United travel to Tottenham on Sunday looking to enhance their chances of finishing in the top four but Solskjaer admitted Martial is also a doubt for the trip to north London. (Text courtesy Metro)
