Why David De Gea was dropped for Chelsea star Kepa in Spain clash (Metro)

Spain assistant Robert Moreno has confirmed David De Gea was dropped for his nation’s clash against Sweden for tactical reasons.

The 28-year-old endured a difficult season at Old Trafford that arguably began after a difficult World Cup campaign with Spain in Russia last summer.

Jose Enrique has stuck by De Gea throughout the campaign but Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa was favoured in Sunday’s 3-0 win against Sweden.
