Davido has revealed the reason he’s taking part in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
The music star reportedly said: “I would not want to miss the opportunity to be part of the service year. I registered for the scheme due to my strong passion for NYSC.”
But could it be that there is a hidden reason no one knows about? For instance, could he be shading Nigeria’s Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, who is alleged not to have participated in the mandatory one year programme for Nigerian graduates? Perhaps this is his attempt to secure a future ambition in politics, considering that his elders are politicians? Or were they the ones, his elders that is, who insisted he must walk this path? Maybe he just has a lot of time on his hands and knows not what to do with it? Time will tell.
Davido also promised to adhere to all the camp rules, But time will also tell if this is only an adventure for him or if his heart is in it. Keep tabs with us and we will let you know when and if he takes one step south. Three weeks is a long time.
