Photographs have emerged showing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette with transfer target William Saliba during Arsenal’s pre-season tour of the United States.
The Gunners have reportedly agreed to pay around £28million for Saliba and the 18-year-old centre-back will be loaned back to his parent club Saint-Etienne for the upcoming season.
Saint-Etienne president Bernard Caiazzo confirmed last week that Arsenal had beaten Tottenham to Saliba’s signature and the France Under-20 international is expected to undergo a medical in the coming days.
The youngster was on the sidelines as Saint-Etienne lost 2-1 to Marseille in Washington at the weekend and Aubameyang was another interested spectator at DC United’s Audi Field. Read more
