A 41-year-old housewife, Janet Ojukwu, was on Tuesday arraigned in Lagos for allegedly pouring hot water on her husband’s ex-wife.
Janet, who resides at Makoko area of Yaba, Lagos, is facing a charge of assault occasioning harm before a Yaba Magistrates’ Court.
She, however, pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Sgt. Godwin Oriabure, told the court that the defendant committed the offence at 3p.m. on November 3, at No. 7, Imamehin St., Makoko, Yaba. Read more
