A yet-to-be identified woman on Saturday morning struck her husband to death with the heel of her shoe in Ugbuwangue community, Warri, Delta State.
The deceased, identified as Etsebanghanro Ighomi, was a father of two children, information on his Facebook page suggests.
It was gathered that the incident occurred close to the community’s town hall at about 11 am.
The deceased was said to be a member of the Ugbuwangue community executive until his death. While details of the circumstances surrounding the incident were still sketchy at press time, there were feelers to the effect that the couple had been quarrelling over alleged acts of infidelity on the part of the deceased.
