The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has said the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination will be made available to candidates of other countries in West Africa to gain admission to Nigerian universities.
The JAMB Registrar, Prof Is-haq Oloyede, stated this at the 6th Annual Conference of West Africa Universities in Dakar, Senegal, according to a statement on Sunday.
He said the examination body would give scholarships to foreign nationals who perform exceptionally in the 2019 UTME. The registrar, who delivered a paper titled, “Trans-Border Education and Research: Quality Assurance Implications for African Universities”, said UTME forms would be available at the Nigerian missions in West African countries in December.
