Four writers have arrived in the town of Iseyin, Oyo State, for the August/September 2022 Ebedi International Writers Residency programme.
A statement issued by the programme coordinators said the writers, who are all Nigerians, are Collins Nosakhare, Ayo Oyekun, Allen Abduljabbar Omale and Seun Damilola Osho.
They will be at the residency for four weeks.
The Ebedi International Writers Residency is a private initiative for writers and visual artists “willing to complete their work in a conducive environment at no cost.”
Since its establishment in 2012, the facility has hosted 150 writers from 12 African countries.
“Apart from completing their ongoing works, the writers will also mentor secondary school students in Iseyin in creative arts during their stay,” said the statement.
