Seventy-one embassies have indicated their interest to participate in the 2025 edition of Carnival Calabar, popularly known as the biggest street party in Africa.
Cross River State Governor, Senator Bassey Otu, disclosed this during the official commissioning of the remodelled 4-Star Channel View Hotel in Calabar on Friday.
While highlighting the role of hospitality in the state’s economy and the need for quality hotel accommodation, Governor Otu disclosed that more foreign dignitaries are expected to attend this year’s Calabar Carnival. (Guardian)
