A football club’s accountant stole £250,000 so he could pay a glamour model to visit him.
Infatuated Andrew Barnbrook, 37, took the large sum from semi-professional National League club AFC Fylde.
He worked as an accounts assistant at the Lancashire club and transferred the money to his personal account, Blackpool Magistrates’ Court heard.
Barnbrook shelled out large amounts for visits from the model, paid to see her perform online and showered her with gifts. Read more
