Actress Jemima Osunde opens up on 3-year medical struggle

Actress Jemima Osunde has shared her three-year struggles with a debilitating health condition.

In a post on X, Osunde revealed that she contracted Helicobacter pylori, a stomach-infecting bacteria, after consuming contaminated food on a film set three years ago.

According to her, the bacteria led to a prolonged battle with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), which has severely impacted daily living.

She expressed deep regret over taking the job, citing it as a decision that has had devastating consequences for her health.She wrote: “I’ve never regretted anything the way I regret taking that job and going with them to Ibadan to shoot under their care.. Got h pylori from set food and the aftermath GERD has left me fighting for my life the last 3 years.  The past month has really been something. *sigh”. (TheNation)
