Brighton are close to completing the signing of Adam Lallana on a free transfer after the England international left Liverpool at the end of his contract this month.
The 32-year-old made 178 appearances for the Reds since joining them from Southampton in 2014, scoring 22 goals, but after a string of injuries and the arrival of world class talents, he lost his place in the first team.
The creative midfielder still made 22 appearances this season, but decided to leave Anfield in search of more regular football.
Sky Sports report that Brighton is set to be his next destination with player and club close to an agreement on a three-year deal. (Metro)
