Following the raging communal clash between Ifon and Ilobu communities, Osun Governor Ademola Adeleke has declared a 24 hours curfew in 2 local government areas.
The Nation reports the communities had been at loggerheads over land disputes which resulted in killings and razing of houses.
On Friday ,three people were reportedly killed including an ex-councillor and 30 people were shot with women and children displaced.
After hundreds of houses were burnt yesterday, Adeleke declared dusk-to-dawn curfew and summoned the kings of the warring communities for a meeting on Saturday. (TheNation)
