The Africa Soft Power Project is collaborating with The Africa Center to presents a two-part virtual series on propelling change through creative power and social media.
With the theme: “Gen xYZ: Unsilenced Voices Propelling Change through Creative Power and Social Media #EndSARS”; it is “a deep dive into the gears driving the youth-led social movement against police brutality and bad governance in Nigeria with implications across the African continent”.
The first session, “Digital canvass; How technology is shaping modern activism (#EndSARS)” will feature Odunayo Eweniyi, Iyinolowa Aboyeji, Ebele Okobi, Tomiwa Aladekomo and Seyitan Atigarin (moderator).
The second, “Creativee Power and Conscious Awakening: Eyes on Nigeria (#EndSARS)” will feature Isha Sesay, Seun Kuti, Osas Ighodaro, Aka Nnani and Oreka Godis (moderator).
