Ahead of next general elections, chieftains and members of All Progressives Congress, APC, and community leaders in Agbado/Oke Odo Local Council Development Area on Thursday unanimously endorsed Governor Akinwunmi Ambode for second term in office.
Speaking during the endorsement rally held at the party’s secretariat in Abule Egba, the Chairman of the council, Dr Augustine Arogundade said the council’s endorsement was as a result of Ambode’s wonderful performance in office in the last three years.
He said: ‘’ The support for Governor Akinwunmi Ambode by the people of Agbado/Oke Odo LCDA for second term is a carefully-thought out decision. The reason for this is not far-fetched. It is obviously based on his wonderful performance in office in the last couple of years; the Massive infrastructural development, improved health services, improved security services, the cleaner Lagos initiatves, and other giant strides in all sectors.
