I love Willy. I love him because he is the only one who understands me and my needs. I am not the type of girl that sleeps around; I am a one-man woman type, so don’t believe what the police are saying about me.
And one more thing, I am not a prostitute, my Willy was good to me.

Like I said, Willy was the type of guy that he likes to sex every time and me, when I am free at work, maybe when there are no customers, like during the weekdays like Tuesdays or Thursdays, usually, those days are very dull days because customers prefer to come on Saturdays, Sundays and even Mondays. Sorry, I forgot, I am a hairdresser and my name is Ugonwa.
So as I was saying, on those days when customers are not coming too much, I will quickly go and meet Willy and we will do it, until maybe one of my mates for shop calls and say customer has come.
So that day, Willy called me, say I should come. I had no customer but I was just not feeling like sexing at all. My body was doing me one kind. So, I told him I won’t come say my madam dey shop that period.
And that is always the problem I have with men. It is not always a woman will feel like sex. Not like men. Once their thing stand there no hold-on-I-am-coming. Me, sometimes I just do it so Willy will be happy, even when he ask say, ‘Se you enjoy am?’ I will just lie that yes, I enjoy am. But I did not. And anytime I refuse him, he will say another man has been f@$*ing me. He will want to check my pant or put his finger inside. He will collect my phone and check, he will be going to tell people say ‘Ugonma has another boyfriend’.

Ok, you see, Willy is a graduate but he doesn’t have any job yet. He finished from University of Benin where he studied Civil Engineering but no job, so many times, he is at home. We live together at Origba Street, Ajagbandi, for Lagos here.
He became my boyfriend after my former boyfriend travelled abroad and did not come back.
Anyway, few days back, last week Wednesday exactly, Willy called me again, said I should come if my madam is not around. Aunty no dey, so I told my co girls for shop that I am coming. I went to meet Willy. That day, to be honest, I just thought that I will sleep, maybe when we finish, I will just sleep small. And true after we finish doing, I just relax, then my phone ring and it was Seun, the boy who has a barbing shop downstairs, he is also the Landlord’s son.
Now, Seun has dreadlocks, you know the type that they twist and whenever he wants to re-twist, he will call me to come and do it for him. He will pay me but sometimes he will owe me and pay later, after all, I am a hairdresser, so I can twist.
As I picked Seun call, Willy just snatched the phone and started shouting in the phone that Seun should leave his wife alone, that Seun is f@#*ing his wife, he was just shouting.
Chai! I was angry. What kind of wahala is this? I am not his wife, he has not carry wine for me, so which one is wife?
Me and Seun, nothing dey. Seun sef dey behave like big man pikin. He will not even greet some people or answer when they greet, so the fact that he is even asking me to come and do his hair sef was a big thing for me.
But Willy was just jealous. He cut off the phone and began to check my messages and WhatsApp saying he is sure Seun call me and that is why I came home, say normally I will not come like that.
I vex my sister, I vex well well. See this man!
So, we started fighting because I was shouting at him to give me back my phone. I was screaming because he held my neck and was trying to strangulate me! I was shouting for people to come and save me.
That was when Seun and two other people in our yard just break the door and come in. They, by force, remove Willy’s hand from my neck and by this time my sister, I was almost naked.
Willy tear my clothes, tear my…in short, I was naked for everyone. But Willy was still angry, still trying to grab my neck. So Seun, he hold him, so that he will not attack me again and I swear, my sister, I swear, I was just trying to pick my phone that scattered when Willy just ran towards me again, I don’t know how Seun let him go, he just ran towards me as I bent down and me, fear and shock make me quickly get up…that’s how Willy tumble from there go down o. He just fell from the window straight to the fence that has shooku-shooku bottles!

We all rushed downstairs to help him but as he fell, it was his stomach that he landed on. Kai see blood everywhere. I was shouting that people should help me bring him down from the fence and when they did, we rush him to the hospital down the road. They said they can’t help him o, that we should go general. That is general hospital.
Willy died. They said I killed him. In fact, police say that it is me and Seun that killed him; that Seun is my boyfriend. Imagine o.
