What an interesting week it has been in Lagos State with the All Progressives Congress (APC) holding a governorship primary that was as unprecedented as it was different from anything ever done in the state of aquatic splendour.
Not only did the APC hand out its mandate to another candidate, it for the first time in the history of the state since the country returned to democracy in 1999, truncated the second term ambition of an incumbent governor.
The new candidate is Babajide Sanwo-Olu and he will run in place of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode. This has left a lot of people talking and a day before the party decided and Governor Ambode conceded, these Lagosians told thisislagos their minds on the matter. See it in the video.
