Nigeria has recorded 387 new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infections in the country to 9,302.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known Friday night on its verified Twitter handle.
The agency put the number of people who have been discharged after testing negative to the virus at 2,697, it said that the number of fatalities has risen to 261 after recording two new deaths.
Lagos again recorded the highest number of infections with 254 cases while the FCT notched 29, Jigawa 24, Edo 22, Oyo 15, Rivers 14 and Kaduna 11. Borno accounts for six, Kano three, while Plateau, Yobe, Gombe and Bauchi have two each with Ondo recording a single case.
