Anthony Crolla pocketed £230,000 ($300,000) for his painful defeat to Vasyl Lomachenko on Friday night in Los Angeles.
The British challenger was the heavy underdog for the fight with Lomachenko, who is considered as the best pound-for-pound boxer on the planet.
Lomachenko crushed Crolla over four rounds and thought he had the job done in the third after pinning his opponent against the ropes.
