Anxiety in Edo Assembly over hint of defections

The wave of defections rocking Nigeria’s political clime may soon hit Edo State as no fewer than eight lawmakers of the All Progressives Congress, APC,  in the state House of Assembly may have concluded plans to defect to other political parties.

According to Vanguard, some of the parties in consideration include the Action Democratic Party, ADP and the Social Democratic Party, SDP.

The defection of the eight lawmakers, according to sources, is because they were not sure of getting the APC ticket. Read more
