APC’s Masari wins Katsina governorship election (Guardian)

Katsina State All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Aminu Bello Masari, has won the governorship election held on Saturday.

Masari, is also the incumbent state governor, polled 1,178,864 votes to emerge as the winner of the exercise.

The Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) Returning  Officer for the governorship election in Katsina, Prof. Abdullahi Abdulmuminu, announced Masari as the winner at the INEC collation centre in Katsina.

Masari won with a wide margin to defeat sixteen other candidates that contested along with him. Read more
