They will be speaking under the broad theme “Let’s Talk Entrepreneurship”, to a SOLD OUT class of 30 registered participants in Lagos.
The trio will show that there is a big difference between a business owner and an entrepreneur because while every entrepreneur is a business owner not every business owner is an entrepreneur.
According to Soji Oyawoye, statistics have shown that:
- Only 1% of business owners are entrepreneurs
- Only 1% of business owners become wealthy and fulfilled
“These statistics,” he notes, “have not changed from the first time it was measured decades ago. This shows that there is something fundamentally wrong about how most business owners run their business. They work very hard, but unfortunately success does not come from just working hard. It is what you are working hard at that matters. There are certain activities that have a vast proportion of impact and success. And most don’t do that, spending their time instead on many things with little or no impact on their businesses growth.”
