The Commander of the 32 Artillery Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Brig.-Gen. James Ataguba, on Saturday said the army was ready for the forthcoming general elections.
Ataguba stated this at the Brigade West African Social Activities of the Nigeria Army held at the Owena Cantonment in Akure, Ondo State capital.
He said men and officers of the brigade, in collaboration with other security agencies in the state, would not relent in their efforts to ensure that lives and properties were protected before, during and after the elections.
