Arsenal legend Kanu believes opposition teams are ‘already afraid’ of summer signing Nicolas Pepe.
Pepe joined the Gunners in a club-record £72million deal from Lille last month and the 24-year-old forward has gone on to make four appearances in the Premier League.
The Ivorian has been thrown right in at the deep end, making his full debut in Arsenal’s 3-1 defeat away at Liverpool before playing alongside Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as Unai Emery’s side drew 2-2 with north London rivals Tottenham.
While Pepe is yet to find the net for his new club, he has impressed former Arsenal striker Kanu with his promising early showings in the English top flight this season. Read more
