Afrobeats singer Asake’s former manager, Stephen Nana, popularly known as Stevenator, has revealed the reasons behind his decision to part ways with the artist.
In a viral social media interview with UpgradeTV, Stevenator explained that Asake’s fast rise to fame outpaced his ability to manage the artist, compounded by personal challenges in balancing his professional and family life.
Stevenator shared that his journey into artist management began with a call from Olamide, the head of YBNL Nation.
Having never met Asake or heard his music before, Stevenator said he found himself thrust into a fast-paced role with no time to learn on the job due to Asake’s rapid ascent. (TheNation)
