ASUU insists strike must continue (ThisDay)

The Federal University of Technology, Minna chapter of Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has insisted that the strike declared by the union must continue.

This is in spite of appeals made to the union by prominent Nigerians for the strike to be called off in the interest of Nigerian students.

A statement by the Secretary of the union, Dr. Gbolahan Folarin, made available to all members, a copy of which was given to THISDAY yesterday,  advised all its members to ignore any directive to the contrary.

“This is to remind us that the current strike declared by the union is total, comprehensive and indefinite,” the statement said. Read more
