This is the heart-warming moment a runner stopped inches from the finish line to turn back and help an exhausted competitor.
The depleted athlete had collapsed onto his hands and knees just metres from the end of the elite 10k race.
His kindly rival stopped his own race to pick up the man and help him across the line – even allowing him to finish ahead.
