When he’s not busy firing arrows into the middle of the Avengers madness, Jeremy Renner is apparently into… music?
Yes, the 47-year-old actor – who you may also recognise from such flicks as Captain America: Civil War, 28 Weeks Later and The Hurt Locker – has made a foray into the world of rock’n’roll (OK, deep house) with a guest feature on Dutch DJ Sam Feldt’s new song.
Heaven (Don’t Have A Name) is actually a bright slice of EDM-pop, which, rather surprisingly, features the Clint Barton/Hawkeye actor stealing the show on guest vocals – and you can listen to it for yourself below.
Speaking to Billboard about how he tapped Renner to work on the track, Feldt said: ‘I’ve always been a big fan of Jeremy Renner’s movies and acting performances. When I heard he could sing, too, I reached out to Renner, and we worked on this vocal together.’
‘I spent days perfecting the track into something that oozes both Renner’s cinematic vocal style and the classic Sam Feldt summer sound,’ the DJ and producer added.
‘I love how the vocals are romantic and dramatic, and how they are complimented by a cinematic-style break and typical Sam Feldt drop.’ Read more
