The Chairman of Badagry Local Government Area, Lagos State, Mr Olusegun Onilude, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to infrastructure development.
Onilude gave the assurance at Ajara, Badagry, on Wednesday while inspecting an administrative building project at the council’s secretariat.
The chairman said that the three-storey building would be one of his administration’s legacy projects.
Onilude added that the edifice would provide befitting office accommodation for workers and give the secretariat facelift.
He praised the contractors handling the project for working according to schedules and specifications.
According to him, the progress and quality of work so far on the project are impressive.
Onilude said that when completed, the building would house the offices of the chairman, vice chairman and other principal officers of the council.
He said that his administration would complete all the projects it embarked on without plunging the council into debts.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that other principal officers of the council accompanied the chairman on the inspection. (NAN)
