The Catholic Bishop of Awka, Most Rev Paulinus Ezeokafor, is set to inaugurate a groundbreaking solo art exhibition on Friday, May 10th, at the Pope John Paul II Major Seminary in Okpuno, Awka. 

The exhibition, featuring the works of acclaimed artist Ekeoma Ahumaraeze I. Yvonne-Mary, promises to be a celebration of hyper-realism artistry.

Yvonne-Mary, a graduate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, specialises in hyper-realistic paintings across various media. Her exceptional talent earned her the prestigious Hitch-Canada Award in 2021. 

Hailing from Umuakah in Njaba LGA of Imo State, Ekeoma, who also holds a Master’s degree, is poised to captivate the world with her compelling artistry. 

The exhibition opens with a holy mass officiated by Bishop Ezeokafor, marking a significant cultural and artistic event in Awka.
